Main Street Theatre is thrilled to stage its first full-production musical—Oliver! This musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel Oliver Twist tells the story of a young orphan, Oliver, who escapes the harsh conditions of a workhouse and encounters various characters in London, including the kind-hearted Mr. Brownlow and the menacing Fagin. Through a series of dramatic and heartwarming events, Oliver ultimately finds a sense of belonging and family.

Auditions will consist of:

• Cold readings from the script
• Short, one-minute solo, either a song from Oliver! OR a piece you choose. Reference the Oliver! (Original Broadway Cast Recording) (1989)soundtrack for song choices. ?If you choose a song that's not from Oliver!, you must bring your own sheet music for our accompanist.
• A brief choreographed sequence in a group setting. Note: a video link will be posted on this page ahead of auditions, so please check back. ?

?Auditioners may be asked to stay up to one hour after their arrival time slot.
Resume and headshot not required, but please bring a recent picture that we may keep.
